HAL FLAVIN



the second part of this evening  - and the closing act
of our Sharp9 FESTIVAL 2010 will put Hal Flavin in the light,
a young and brilliant electro-pop band from luxembourg!



Hal Flavin is a three-bodied creature and imaginary friend ;)
it was formed in Luxembourg by two revenants from Europe's largest capitals
and a ferocious indigen...
The electropop they create on stage using machines, guitars, synths, voice and bass
is influenced by both Wave and Funk. All at once visceral and binary, distant,
danceable and stylized, their ambiguous sound is intended to soothe the alienated.



They supported the likes of Metronomy, IAMX, The Faint, Fujiya & Miyagi, Does it offend you,
yeah! and Birdy Nam Nam and played at festivals like Eurosonic Noorderslag,
ROCK A FIELD (w/ Kings of Leon, Franz Ferdinand, The Ting Tings…)
and ITALIA WAVE LOVE (w/ Placebo, Kraftwerk, Aphex Twin…).



The new single "Wheel of Fortune (Dragon Edit)" is availableon all major download platforms.
