VENUS IN THE DUST

Last ECLECTLiq Session this month: we are proud to present you VENUS IN THE DUST this coming Saturday.

Originally Belgian but French by adoption, model, dancer, passionated by music since her youngest age, nocturnal by occupation, Stephanie has tried a few songwriters before deciding to write her own own texts in english, because her musical culture crosses seas and goes way beyond borders.

In June 2008 she meets Fabien Pilard (Fabantistar that we are welcoming in LiquID end of february: www.myspace.com/fabantistar and www.myspace.com/fabrac), nor model nor dancer but passionated by Anglo-Saxon music since childhood and nocturnal by pleasure and conviction. Fab manages the studio L'Usine (www.myspace.com/assolusine) and worked as a guitarist/bassist/arranger in the studio and on stage with artists as diversified as Mell, JilVictor, Antistar (and lots of others). He's the one who puts the texts and melodies of Stephanie in music.

The songs are the evolving result of months of work, time to finding common ground and adjusting the overall style and the remain in constant evolution. The band found its balance with the arrival of Pat "Gonzo" Hue on drums and Stephane Glanois on bass. To be continued...
