PBH Trio
PBH Trio is the same line-up as Cédric Hanriot's GroOovematic, featuring Cédric Hanriot on piano and synths, bassist Bertrand Beruard and drummer Jean-Baptiste Pinet. French pianist, composer, sound designer and music producer Cédric Hanriot started playing music at the age of 20 after graduating from University of Nancy (France) where he received a Master’s Degree in Electronic Engineering and Signal Processing.
He attended the Berklee College of Music in Boston (USA) where he studied with Danilo Pérez and Hal Crook. Cédric played at numerous international venues such as the Universal Exhibition 2010 in Shanghai (China), Victoria and Vancouver Jazz Festivals (Canada), and also in the USA, Japan, South Korea, South America.He participated in Dianne Reeves latest album “Beautiful Life” alongside with Robert Glasper, Esperanza Spalding and Terri Lyne Carrington. He has collaborated for studio/performance work with artists like Herbie Hancock, John Patitucci, Terri Lyne Carrington, Christian McBride, Me’shell Ndegeocello.
PBH Trio delivers a unique mix of jazz, electro, groove and pop, a fresh sound that is seated at the crossroads between electronic music and world-class acoustic music. The trio brilliantly combines rhythmic and harmonic complexity with groove and energy.
