Black Narcissus Quintet

The band was formed in 1996 by four passionate jazz musicians. All four already have some career behind them, they start by playing "standards" and later some original material. Nowadays their repertoire is a mixt of pieces from Yves Godot, the band’s guitarist and other standards.

In 2001, the band recorded his first CD “Le Samovar Fêlé”. Since 2004, the band consists now in 5 musicians, while Pierre is added and Matthieu became the new drummer. In May 2012 they release a new album “L’Amer à Boire” recorded in the natural acoustics of a chapel of a former convent in Filières (F-54). Their latest record “On est bien” came out in spring 2015.
