PABST-LAURENT-ROBIN TRIO

Originally from Saarland in Germany, he is now living in Amsterdam. He is touring constantly through the world, writes scores for movies and teaches at the Conservatory of Amsterdam. A couple of years ago, he played for the first time with the great French rhythm-section of bassist Gautier Laurent from Nancy and drummer Jean-Marc Robin from Metz. There was an immediate click between the three musicians and they kept on playing together in different formations. The lyrical approach of Gautier Laurent and the dynamic drumming of Jean-Marc Robin  are the perfect combination to Pabst’s powerful but always melodic piano playing. Tonight, they will give an energetic trio performance of thrilling own compositions and their favorite standards."
