the Umbrellas

Dr. Rain & the Umbrellas is a 5 piece Rhythm’n’Blues band from Luxembourg-City, performing since 2008. 
After the premature death of their lead-singer Pinki in 2010, they stopped playing for some time until mid-2011, when Christian picked up the lead microphone. In April 2012, Virgil Magri replaced their former drummer Gregg Bour. Aged between 30 and 69,  the band plays a variety of groovy songs of different styles: Stevie Ray Vaughan, The Hellcasters, John Mayer, Tony Joe White, Jimmy Thackery, Robert Cray, Jonny Lang, Delbert McClinton, The Nimmo Brothers, Tom Petty, ...
