Imagine a melancholic violin grinding aggressively, a clean guitar drunk with distortion, a strictly playful rhythm section, femininely masculine vocals, devastating in their softness… all of them oxymoron standing for a music to be discovered…

Kyrenee, established in 2002, is a band that distinguishes itself by its impossibility to fit into any given category. Following its logo, in Kyrenee’s music, Good and Evil, brutality and tenderness are battling eternally without any of them ever gaining the upper hand. This is a unique result begotten by the seven band members’ differing musical influences and by their will to transform their very first musical project into something very special. It’s your turn to discover the results…
With Kyrenee still missing a demo-CD, the band still got the opportunity to play with bands such as The Crüxshadows, Tankard, Goddess of Desire, Elis, Visions of Atlantis, Thorax, Das Scheit, Anubiz or Darzamat.

Despite their minimal stage presence in the last year th band is still pretty much alive. In fact, they have been working on new material, added a cello and had a slight line-up change and are ready to take the stage again. They presented their self-produced album called Insorcism on 11/11/11 at the KulturFabrik in Esch/Alzette.
